Golf Programs: Golf Leagues
One of the most popular forms of adult play at MGA Links at Mamantapett is golf league play, which runs throughout the summer season beginning in late April or early May, weather permitting.
Here is an overview of the golf leagues that will be offered during the 2011 season:
Tuesday Evening Ladies League
The Tuesday League plays every week at 5:30 p.m. during the summer on Tuesday evening. Play is based on a points system and teams are blind drawn every week. Fee is $4 for members, $12 for non-members. Prizes are awarded in the form of pro shop credit.
Tuesday Morning Ladies League
The Ladies Club plays every Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. and a varietyof games will be played. Fees are $4 for members and $12 for non-members. Prizes will be awarded in the form of pro shop credit.
Wednesday Evening Ladies League
The Ladies Club plays every Wednesday evening at 5:00 p.m. and a varietyof games will be played. Fees are $4 for members and $12 for non-members. Prizes will be awarded in the form of pro shop credit.
Sunday Morning Scramble
The Sunday morning scramble is open the any player wishing to play with a new group of golfers each week. The scramble starts at 8:00 a.m. and teams are selected after all players are registered in the Pro Shop. Cost for the scramble is $15 per player.
