We can only hope all the rain has moved away for a long time to come as we get ready for the month of July.
This month marks the beginning of The First Tee Program here at MGA Links, and we have many juniors ready to participate this season. I know we are all going to have a great time this season with all the junior golfers coming to The First Tee clinics. Please note the front nine will be closed during the First Tee Program. However, the back nine will be open for all players. The First Tee will be held Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Our junior tournaments are underway, with two exciting events coming up. We have the Member-Member on July 9th at 3:00 p.m. Please sign up as a two-person team in the pro shop by Friday July 7th. The entry fee is $5.00/per person.
Another upcoming tournament is the MGA Links Junior Club Championship. This event has been moved from Sunday July 23rd to Saturday July 22nd at 11:00 a.m. The sign up sheet will be posted in the Pro Shop on Saturday July 8th.
We have some new ladies clothing in the shop at very reasonable prices, as well as some nice junior clubs with some of the best prices around. If we do not have what you are looking for we should be able to special order it for you. We will do our best to accommodate your specific needs.
I hope you all enjoy the sunny weather that we all deserve, and come out and enjoy a round of golf.
