We are off to great start to the season here at MGA Links. The weather has gone from rainy and wet to sunny and dry, which all of us golfers enjoy.
All the leagues are underway and each one of them has had great participation. I speak for the entire MGA Links staff when I say that we like to see the golf course busy after all the rain we had last month.
The Tuesday Morning Ladies League will have an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start beginning on June 13th and will continue with this start time until September. We like to start early in order to beat the heat of the warmer summer months. So ladies -- please note this on your schedule.
We would also like anyone who is interested in the Sunday Morning Scramble to come on down to the club at 8:00 a.m. for an 8:30 a.m. start. We make the groups up that morning and send you out to have some early morning fun.
Junior league play is going well. Anyone wishing to participate is reminded to sign up in advance for the league. If you cannot get to the club and would still like to play please call the Pro Shop no later than 12:00 p.m. on the Monday of the league. Please note that we will now be starting the league at 5:00 p.m. for the months of June, July and August.
We have some new junior equipment in stock at very competitive prices. Come on down and check it out. Ladies -- we have some new clothing that will be arriving very soon.
The monthly METRO scramble is set for Friday June 30th with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
One date to keep in mind is Sunday, June 11th. On that date, we will host an outing for the Attleboro YMCA at 11:00 a.m. The golf course will not be closed. However the 1st tee will be closed until 2:00 p.m. Please plan your golf accordingly.
