Headline: MGA Links Club Championship Set for August 8-11; Final Day to Register is August 5
Norton, MA – This season, the MGA Links staff will be hosting two divisions for the 2007 MGA Links Club Championship. There will be stroke play and match play divisions.
All entrants will compete in an 18-hole qualifying round on Wednesday, August 8th or Thursday, August 9th. Both rounds will begin at 2:00 p.m.
The top 16 qualifiers will then advance to the Match Play portion of the championship. All other qualifiers will play in the stroke play championship. There will be two matches held on Friday and two matches held on Saturday for the Match Play event, with the winners advancing.
The stroke play championship will be held on Friday and Saturday with 18 holes being played each day. The two-day total scores will be calculated and there will be no cut.
Juniors who are 10 years old and under will compete in a 9-hole championship on Saturday beginning at 1:30 p.m.
The entry fee for this event is $10. Please call the pro shop or stop by to sign up for this event. You will need to indicate your age level when signing up. The deadline to register is August 5.

Wednesday & Thursday August 8 & 9

Friday, August 10
• 1st round of Match play begins at 8:00 a.m.
• 1st round of Stroke play begins at 10:00 a.m.
• 2nd round of Match play begins at 12:30 p.m.
Saturday, August 11
• Semi Finals of Match play begins at 8:00 a.m.
• Final round of stroke play begins at 10:00 a.m.
• Match play finals begins at 12:30 p.m.
• Juniors 10 & under 9 hole Championship begins at 1:30 p.m.
