Headline: Paul & Liz LaVerghetta Win 2007 Parent-Child Tournament at MGA LInks
Norton, MA – The father and daughter team of Paul and Liz LaVerghetta captured the first of two Parent Child Tournaments at MGA Links this past Saturday. Liz, who last season became the first female competitor to compete in the Massachusetts Junior Championship, combined with her father to post a winning score of 57.
The LaVerghetta team defeated John Beadle and Jack Mulry in a card off. Much like Liz LaVerghetta, Beadle also advanced and competed in the Massachusetts Junior Championship in 2006.
The format for this event was select drive alternate shot. Here are the results.
