Headline: The First Tee of Massachusetts Participants Take Part in Better Golf Through Technology Program at MIT
Cambridge, MA – Better Golf Through Technology, Inc., a non-profit organization focused on evaluating new technologies that improve golf play, the MIT Department of Athletics, Physical Education, and Recreation and The First Tee of Massachusetts today announced a First Tee golf event to be held at the Howard W. Johnson Athletic Center on the campus of MIT on February 25th.
MIT golf team members and Better Golf Through Technology engineers will provide a number of Boston-area youths with a chance to learn golf fundamentals and to use the latest golf motion capture technologies.
The young players will have the opportunity to receive instruction from MIT golf team members and Better Golf Through Technology engineers using new electronic wireless technologies which will help them understand how to produce their best swings. A computer-based golf game will also be available where players will use their own swings with real golf clubs to virtually advance from tee to green.
The wireless products are being provided by iClub, a Boston-based wireless motion-capture company.
