About MGA Links
For Immediate Release: May 29, 2008
Headline: MGA Links Extends Invitation to 2008 Bank of America Championship Kids Clinic
The Massachusetts Golf Association and MGA Links at Mamantapett have been supported in many ways by the United States Golf Association on an annual basis. Our programs have been fortunate to receive such support which has allowed our junior golf staff to make many golfing opportunities available to you all across the state.
The USGA recently announced a new contest to design its 2008 Holiday Card. The winner will receive four, week-long passes to a USGA Championship of their choice as well as a USGA Catch the Spirit prize package. Here are instructions on how you can take advantage of this fun contest.
- Please include the entry form (click here to download a printable entry form) with all submissions, one submission per person.
- Use your imagination to draw, paint or design a holiday card that incorporates a golf theme.
- Open to children ages 7-17
- All entries must be created on 8 1/2" x 11" white paper.
- Please use crayons, colored pencils or markers, but not glitter or metallic inks.
- Artwork will not be returned.
- Entries must be submitted by August 31, 2008.
- Winner will be announced in late September 2008.
- Card design may be incorporated into the USGA's 2009 Holiday Card Program and available for sale across the United States.
- Winning artist will be recognized on the back of the printed card.
Please note that the Holiday Card should celebrate the Holiday Season. The design should not be specific to any religious celebration.
