Headline: Updates from the MGA Links Staff... May 21st
We are off to a great start for the 2008 season at MGA Links. As we get closer to the warmer season, I would like to let you all know about some exciting events we will be holding in June.
Saturday Morning Clinics will be held on May 30, June 7, June 14 and June 21. The co-ed clinic begins at 8:00 a.m., while the girls-only clinic follows at 9:00 a.m.
We will have our first Junior Member-Member Tournament on Saturday & Sunday, June 7 and 8. Please call the Pro Shop to sign up as a two person team no later than Wednesday, June 4.
Our second Parent-Child Tournament will be contested on Saturday June 21. To sign up for this event please call the Pro Shop. The entry fee is $30 per team (1 parent & 1 child). The field is limited to the first 80 players. We will do our best to accommodate all those interested in playing in this event. We will start a waiting list after we reach 80 players. Those teams on the waiting list will have priority to enter in the September Parent-Child Tournament.
We will also once again be traveling to the Bank of America Championship at Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord on Friday, June 20. Details for this day are not yet finalized. Please stay turned as we will forward all information to you in the near future.
Lastly, we have an outing scheduled for Friday, June 27 at 9:00 am. This is a shotgun start so the course will be closed until the tournament has finished play. We anticipate that the course will re-open up for play between 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Please call the Pro Shop that day after 12 noon to check on course availability.
